Reasonable Algebraic Functions (RAF) is a complete bundle for a realistic PRECALCULUS I course.
If many "topics" usually found in current Precalculus textbooks are absent it is because the overriding consideration in RAF was that it should "flow" as naturally as possible and that is should provide a solid "foundation" for the further study of differential calculus whereas a brief encounter with said "topics" cannot lead anywhere if only because these are forgotten almostimmediately after the test.
